What does it mean to be STRONG? An Intro to Zilber Coaching.

I am fascinated by Strength. Any type of strength -- Physical Strength, Emotional Strength, Mental Strength, Social Strength, Business Strength. You name it.

My entire life has been spent exploring the relationship between these different aspects of Strength and their influence on each other.  Specifically, how one's physical, mental and emotional strength impact one's social self (how we connect and interact with and influence others) and business self (how we impact our bottom line and those we work with).

According to Webster dictionary, being strong means having the ability to move heavy weights/perform physically demanding tasks (physical strength); ability to withstand great force or pressure (physical, emotional & mental, social strength); and a good or beneficial quality or attribute of a person or thing (physical, emotional & mental, social strength).

But is it more than that?

Which strength comes first? Which creates the greatest impact? What does it actually mean to be STRONG? Does it even matter? And in our human pursuit of more, how do we get stronger?

These are questions that have been brewing in my mind since I was a young girl globe-trotting the world with my family and intently observing the actions and words of others from the various cultures I was immersed in; during my time in college when I spent 4 years researching this topic; throughout the last 13 years that I've been leading health & fitness professionals and gym owners to the next level in their profession and life; and in my own personal life and quest of becoming the best version of myself.

Through my company Zilber Coaching, I work with health & fitness professionals on taking their business & life to the next level. We provide the strategy, structure and accountability they need to excel in both their professional and personal lives -- in essence, systematically working with them on getting stronger in all aspects of life so that they create the work life and personal life they desire and impact as many people as possible.

The purpose of my writings is two-fold:

Firstly, to provide the tools and resources for health & fitness professionals to excel in their profession and create the life they wish to lead -- uncover frequently talked about topics in our profession and bring them to light here, interview successful professionals to give you insight into how they've created the business and life they dreamed of, and to peak your curiosity for personal and professional growth that goes beyond the scope of exercise science and programming.

Secondly, to give you, the millions of people who workout and potentially use the expertise of professionals, a glimpse into the mindset and perspective of those who keep you healthy & fit; and insights into the various aspects of strength and how they impact one another.

As you join me on this journey, my goal is for you to get stronger -- emotionally, intellectually, socially and physically. In Life. In Business. In Body. For you and those around you.

Thank you for reading...now let's get stronger!
